When using, open the packaging and place the gauze on the wound first. Use it to apply pressure directly to the bleeding area. Continue to apply pressure for 3 minutes or until the bleeding stops (multiple gauze may be needed). Finally, leave the gauze in place and wrap it around the wound. Gently remove the gauze after stopping the bleeding. If the gauze sticks to the wound, it can be rinsed off with water. Please do not leave the gauze on the wound for more than 24 hours.
